In case you didn’t know there are only 90
DAYS until Christmas!! That fact, combined with the fact that Tesco are now
selling mince pies means that I am already far too late in investing in my
winter wardrobe. With this in mind, last week I decided to buy my first staple
item for the season – the heeled ankle boot!
Ankle boots have always been a firm favourite of mine, and the new heeled
style works perfectly for those of us who barely make it over 5 foot (5’1 to be
exact!).
All my dreams came true when I found out
that my student discount miraculously still works, despite graduating
in July, and to take advantage of this pre-Christmas miracle I invested in

I love love love them. The block heel is
perfect as it means you can get that extra bit of height without suffering any
pain at all! Who said no pain no gain was true?!
Even better they work well with both casual
every day outfits such as a slouchy jumper and jeans but also look just at home in a more formal look when teamed with tailored trousers and a blazer - meaning there is never reeeeeally a need to take them off!
One of my favourite features is the the pointed gold detailing on the buckle, which gives it a nice sleek looking finish.
Delivery is very reasonable from Boohoo,
only £3.99 for saver delivery and they regularly do discount offers, so it meant the boots were really good
value, particularly as I am going to be wearing them pretty much all season.
